Addmotor Announces Consumer-Grade Wearable AI-Powered Exoskeleton Cybergen Series
EL MONTE, CA, Nov. 4, 2026 – Addmotor today announced the U.S. availability of its flagship wearable robotics series: the Addmotor Cybergen AI Exoskeletons. As a leading U.S. electric bike and electric trike pioneer with over a decade of technological innovation, Addmotor is now expanding into consumer robotics. The series includes the Cybergen Cadens for outdoor exploration and sports, alongside the Cybergen Carego for daily movement assistance. Both models bring lightweight, accessible exoskeleton technology to users across America.
Engineered around an aerospace-grade magnesium alloy frame weighing 4.4 lbs (2.0 kg net weight without battery), the Addmotor AI Exoskeleton integrates a high-density dual-motor drivetrain generating 1000W peak power output and 40 N·m of torque. Driven by proprietary closed-loop AI motion algorithms and real-time sensor fusion, the Cybergen Exoskeletons operate using human movement kinetics and active motor actuation across physical movement.
“Human exploration and daily movement rely on continuous biomechanical coordination across varying environments,” said the Product Director at Addmotor Tech. “With the Cybergen series, we engineered an AI-powered exoskeleton featuring millisecond-responsive gait recognition. By fusing our high-torque e-mobility drivetrain heritage with deep-learning gait algorithms, the Cybergen Cadens and Cybergen Carego deliver responsive motor assist across all terrains.”
Cybergen Cadens Exoskeleton
The all-new Cybergen Cadens Exoskeleton (Cybergen Cadens) marks a technological breakthrough in wearable performance for outdoor sports and indoor fitness. Engineered as a high-performance wearable device, the Cadens is designed for mountain climbing, hiking, cycling, running, and indoor gym training.
Built around a lightweight aerospace-grade magnesium alloy frame weighing just 4.4 lbs (2.0 kg net weight without battery), the Cadens integrates a high-density 1000W peak dual-motor drivetrain generating a peak torque of 40 N·m directly aligned with hip flexion and extension. Delivering up to a 45% assist ratio, it is powered by a dual 3000 mAh hot-swappable removable lithium-ion battery system (6000 mAh total capacity), providing up to 15 miles (24 km) of powered assistance per charge across mountain climbing, hiking, running, walking, and indoor fitness routines. The structural enclosure is IP54 weatherproof rated and built to operate across temperatures from -20°C to 60°C (-4°F to 140°F). Collapsing in seconds down to a compact 10-inch footprint, the Cybergen Cadens slips into backpacks, making it an ideal lightweight companion for outdoor adventures.
Cybergen Cadens: Addmotor App-Integrated Dual Operational Modes
- AI Smart Adaptive Mode: Continuously analyzes stride frequency and terrain gradients in real time. On ascents, the system supplies concentric upward drive; on descents, automated shock-dampening protocols cushion ground reaction forces during impact.
- Fitness Mode: Reverses motor actuation to generate active mechanical resistance against leg movement. Functioning as a smart load trainer during bodyweight squats, lunges, or agility drills, it provides targeted resistance for athletic training.
Cybergen Carego Exoskeleton
The Cybergen Carego Exoskeleton is optimized for walking, cycling, neighborhood strolls, and daily movement assistance. Tailored with a maximum assist speed of 5.3 mph (8.5 km/h), the Carego integrates S-Curve bionic leg bars, pressure-relieving shoulder straps, and breathable anti-slip mesh to deliver wearing comfort.
Engineered with the aerospace-grade magnesium alloy frame (4.4 lbs / 2.0 kg net weight without battery), the Cybergen Carego houses a 1000W peak dual-motor drivetrain delivering 40 N·m of torque and up to a 45% assist ratio for consistent, smooth assistance. It utilizes a dual 3000 mAh hot-swappable removable battery system (6000 mAh total capacity) to provide up to 15 miles (24 km) of powered assistance per charge, encased in an IP54 dustproof and water-resistant enclosure. For intuitive operation, the Carego incorporates color-coded LED status feedback and tactile slide control.
The Cybergen Carego Exoskeleton features an AI Motion Engine that dynamically recognizes gait patterns and terrain in real time, intelligently delivering responsive assist power.
Cybergen Carego: Addmotor App-Integrated 4 Operational Modes
- Smart Exercise Mode: High-level dynamic torque output for park inclines, active walking, and outdoor terrain.
- Smart Relaxation Mode: A smooth, progressive assistance curve that moderates physical effort and elevates energy efficiency during routine flat-ground walking.
- Smart Left-Leg Assist Mode: Provides adjustable power assistance.
- Smart Right-Leg Assist Mode: Provides adjustable power assistance.
Powered by the AI Motion Engine
Hardware performance is synchronized through the company’s proprietary AI motion engine. Unifying a high-compute AI processing chip with an ultra-fast motor controller, the onboard architecture bridges human intent and robotic actuation with near-zero latency:
- Sense (Multi-Sensor Signal Fusion): High-frequency solid-state Inertial Measurement Units (IMUs), multi-axis gyroscopes, accelerometers, and strain sensors sample joint angles, posture tilt, and step cadence thousands of times per second.
- Interpret (Deep Reinforcement Learning): Onboard neural algorithms process live movement telemetry against extensive human gait libraries, interpreting intended step velocity, stride angle, and elevation changes down to the millisecond.
- Assist: Dual motors execute precision push-and-pull torque aligned with natural leg movements. Power activates at step initiation and disengages instantly upon stopping, delivering smooth assistance.
Smart Ecosystem
The Cybergen Series connect to the Addmotor App via Bluetooth, transforming smartphones into an interactive control hub:
- Live Activity Dashboard: Real-time monitoring for step count, gait cadence, travel duration, and distance.
- Customizable Assist Curves: Precision sliders to fine-tune assist intensity, power curve responsiveness, and resistance levels.
- Over-The-Air (OTA) Updates.
